How Serious Is An IRS Audit?
If you have received a letter about an IRS audit, then you might want to be prepared and verify why the IRS wants to audit you. There is likely something on your tax return that makes the IRS wants to see proofs of or get more information on.
If you are a normal person, then perhaps the IRS is just wanting ore information and the audit will be quick and pain free.
However, if you have something to hide and do not want the IRS to know, then if the IRS finds out, your audit will be long and painful.
