Many people say that in order to be a great conversationalist, you must be well-read.
I agree.
But it also helps to have a niche to specialize in, such as politics, religion, government studies, or even family life.
With the internet being what it is, a literal treasure trove of information, it’s quite easy to become well-read without having to spend a lot of money on subscriptions and books.
My area of interest is travel so I keep up on most of the latest travel news that makes its way on to a number of websites I follow.
It’s good to be well-read.
