Classes of Biometric Products
When discussing biometric products, there are essentially two main classes- physiological and behavioral. Physiological biometric products are essentially things that are related to the shape or makeup of the body such as fingerprints, faces, handprints, iris patterns, or even DNA. Behavioral biometric products are related, as the name suggests, to the behavior of a particular person. This is may include signatures, voice, and even keystroke dynamics. These things taken together can prove especially important for many unique security situations.
