How I impressed my boss
When I took over as the departmental secretary, my boss at work put me in charge of ordering office supplies — he told me there might be a problem in that he was just not able to commit any more money to purchasing office supplies — we only have about $200 in the fund, and we really needed to stock up on a lot of stuff. I told my boss not to worry, I thought I could locate some good deals — and I did. I found some great Office Depot coupons online with just a little bit of searching — you know Office Depot has great prices anyway, but with these coupons we were able to save even more. I was able to purchase all of the supplies that we needed and we still have plenty of money left over in our office supply fund. Boy was my boss impressed! Let’s just say that it’s my little secret…
