Don’t Go There
The most common defense mechanism used after a rough break up is jealousy. For some reason we believe that making our ex jealous will some how bring them crawling back to us. Sure this might work every once in a while, but the truth is that the risk is much greater than the reward. If things go wrong then you can kiss any chance of making up with them in the future. Even if you see them with someone else it may just be a sign that they want your attention. The bottom line is that you have to be careful in making your ex jealous. It is much more likely that you will make things worse.
