Stay away from reverse osmosis home systems
With the poor quality of drinking and bathing water in our local area, we decided to look into installing a whole house water filter. My husband and I have been doing a lot of research on the subject, and one thing we learned was that you want to stay away from reverse osmosis home systems for several reasons.
First, these are very expensive systems. They also remove good nutrients as well as the bad contaminants from the water, so you will need to add nutrients and minerals through some other mechanism. There are much better options for getting clean and pure drinking water in your home besides a reverse osmosis system.
