Why you probably can’t print posters at home
The reason why most people normally can’t print posters at home on their own computer is that posters are usually rather large in size — typically a much larger size than can be accommodated with an inkjet printer. What can you do in these types of situations? One alternative would be to design your poster and save it to a disk — then take it to your local print shop or specialty paper store — they may have the equipment necessary to print your poster on a larger size paper. Failing that, you can always tried to print out your poster as a series of smaller sheets, which can then be glued or taped together.
