Private Funding for School

If you have already exhausted all of your other funding options for school, you may want to consider private funding. Generally, you are able to borrow a large amount through a private lender. As with any loan, be sure to compare interest rates when searching for debt consolidation loans. You may also need a cosigner depending on your credit and work history so be sure to speak with your parents to see if they can cosign for you. Be sure to mention you won’t have to start paying the money back until 6 months after you graduate. You may also want to let them know that some loans have an option for early release of the cosigner if payments are received on time.
