In Search of the Truth

When you’re in search of the truth, perhaps the Internet isn’t such a good idea. After all, how do you ever know whether or not something is completely and totally reliable on the Internet.  There are so many people out there who are trying to scam you and make money off of those poor folks who just don’t know any better.  When you are looking something up on the Internet, there are a few ways to check to see if the source is reliable or not. First of all, look at the web site.  Does it look like it was designed by a five year-old?  Is there an author? Does the author provide a first and last name that when you Google it, it comes back to someone?  Make sure that you can find references throughout the text.  If they’re not referencing anything or at least providing links back to other credible sources, then more than likely, the web site is a fabrication of their mind and not really fact for you.
