We use our fireplace a lot, so we need a really good gas fireplace valve to keep the gas flow rate from going too high and burning down the house. This gas fireplace valve also has controllers built in that prevents the gas flow rate from building. The previous gas fireplace valve we had was not very good and we ran a risk of burning down our house.
